Character Five: Female, 29 (technically 529)
Naming rule: Oerba (ie. Oerba Yun Fang)
Hometown: Oerba, Pulse.
Occupation: Mercenary
Weapon: Bladed lance of some description.
Required Paradigm: Sentinel (Commando also recommended)

Based on the character, Oerba Yun Fang.

This character is a Pulse l'Cie, awoken from her crystal stasis after fulfilling her first focus, in order to complete a new one which she believes must be something to do with attacking Cocoon - unfortunately, they can't remember what their first focuus was, or what their new one is supposed to be. She travels to Euride Gorge on Cocoon, along with Character Six, to see if they can jump-start their memories, when the child of Character Four stumbles upon them, lost in the power plant. The child is branded as a Cocoon l'Cie by the Fal'Cie, Kujata, sensing the threat from the two Pulse l'Cie.

They flee before the boy is found by Character Four, but are separated after forcing Character Six to escape whilst she fends off the PSICOM forces flooding the facility to capture the child.

Eventually, she manages to escape the facility, but is captured by the Cavalry (a rebel division of the Guardian Corps), who offer to help her, if she helps them to topple the Sanctum. It seems win-win.

This character is a mature woman, battle-hardened and fairly wizened. She is very protective of Character Six, considering her almost like a sister, given everything they've been through. She would 'tear down the sky if it would save her'. She's not one for small talk, and seems to be a very good tactician, aware of her surroundings at all times.
